About The Artist

As Long as I can remember I've always had a passion for photography.  I was 6 when I got my first camera. A Kodak, "Wow". I had gotten it by saving 50 coupons from the Layes potato chip boxes. I still remember how excited I was when Mom & Dad brought home that final box of chips . The day my camera arrived, I was so proud, finally I could follow my dream... to become a photographer.
Deciding what you want to be when your 6 doesn't always work out as planned. Although my proffession was not a photographer, I never put the camera down.
When my daughters where born, that passion was still alive & strong, but photography for me was still just a hobby.

In 2003 I was diagnosed with cancer, Non-Hodgkins lymphoma. We where all devastated with the news. With no time to waste chemotherapy started immediatly. Cancer has a way of giving you a whole new perspective on life. Having a positive attitude and faith in God was going to get me through this...and when I was finished with my treatment and was well again.... I was going to open a studio.

Well I'm 14 years cancer free. The studio has grown in leaps and bounds and I have had the opportunity to study photography with some of the best photographers in the field. I am an active member of the Professional Photographers Association (PPA) the Wisconsin PPA and IPPA. My future plan is to continue with my education to achieve my masters. "Life is good"

All things in life happen for a reason. Having cancer was Gods way of getting me to follow my true passion. He has given me the opportunity to create memories that will last a liftime......
and for that I am truely grateful.
